Low Carb CocKtails

Whether you are counting calories or getting a jump start on your New Year’s resolution, I am sharing a few of my favorite low-carb versions of some popular drinks so you can ring in the New Year without the guilt!!
Low Carb Cranberry and Vodka
Ingredients
8 oz. diet sparkling cranberry juice
2 shots lime vodka
1 lime
fresh cranberries and limes for garnish
Instructions
Fill two cocktail glasses with ice, pour a shot of vodka in each.
Squeeze the juice from a half of lime in each glass.
Top the vodka and lime off with the cranberry juice.
Garnish with fresh cranberries and lime slices.
Low Carb Mojito
Ingredients
6 leaves Mint fresh
2 tbsp Lime Juice
1 pinch of stevia (more depending on desired sweetness)
Ice Cubed or Crushed
1 shot Vodka
1 splash club soda (I prefer San Pellegrino)
Lime Slice for Garnish (optional)
Instructions
Muddle the fresh mint leaves with lime and Stevia.
Fill glass with ice..
Add vodka.
Finish off with club soda.
Garnish with a lime slice and mint.
Low Carb Moscow Mule
Ingredients
Ice
0.6 oz lime juice
1.5 oz vodka
6 oz. diet ginger beer
Instructions
Add lime juice and vodka to chilled glass. Stir until glass is frosted.
Strain the mixture into a copper mug with ice.
Fill the mug with diet ginger beer and serve.
Low Carb Margarita
Ingredients
Salt
2 tbs tequila
2 tsp lime juice
1/2 packet of stevia (more or less depending on desired sweetness)
1/4 tsp. orange extract
Ice
Lime wedge for garnish
Instructions
Run the lime wedge around the edge of a glass. Dip the rim of the glass into a plate of salt.
Add the remaining ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake well.
Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with lime wedge.
Enjoy!!!
Low Carb Grapefruit and Gin Cocktail
Ingredients
2 oz gin
2 oz freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
3 dashes bitters
2 sage leaves
1 lemon or lime wedge for garnish
Sage leaves for garnish
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and pour contents into glass. Garnish with fresh sage leaf and lemon wedge.
